Victory Guaranteed for Ondo Guber’s APC Ticket Holders: Aiyedatiwa, Ibrahim, and Akinterinwa

All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the governorship of Ondo State, including former finance commissioner Wale Akinterinwa, senator Jimoh Ibrahim, and incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, have voiced confidence in their chances of being elected.

The three individuals who voiced their opinions after filing their forms of interest and nomination at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja on Thursday also stated that they will win the November 16 guber polls provided the party nominates them in the primary election on April 20.
Addressing the press, Governor Aiyedatiwa pledged to build upon the successes of the past few months since assuming office, explaining that his decision to run was a direct result of popular demand.

The governor promised to further consolidate his strides, such as paying some salaries, pensions, and other arrears owed since 2014, registering with WAEC, improving agriculture, and other sectors of the state. He claimed he was not afraid of other aspirants in the race with him but sure of winning the ticket.
Ibrahim, the senator for Ondo South, has stated his intention to win the upcoming election, citing the fact that he has visited more than 120 wards to rally support and collected data from more than 400,000 individuals.

In order to ensure that his followers could cast ballots for him in the primary election, the congressman said that he would pay the party N140 million for 100,000 delegates’ membership forms.
According to Ibrahim, if he takes office as governor, his first priority would be to get the $47 billion worth of bitumen out of Agbabu. He is also working on a bill to legitimize bitumen exploration in the National Assembly.

When asked about security, he promised to strengthen Amotekun and deploy an app to eliminate threats. I intend to make use of applications that are capable of detecting insecurity and crimes. This artificial intelligence is necessary for modern security in order to fight insecurity.
