The Kidnapped TV Reporter Reaches Freedom on Rivers

Reporter Joshua Rogers of Channels Television in Rivers State, who was abducted close to his home in the Rumuosi community of the Obio/Akpor local government area, is now free again.

On Thursday night, when Rogers was making his way home from the office, he was abducted in front of his dwelling.

“Yes, he has been released,” stated Charles Oporum, a member of the Channels Television team in Port Harcourt who verified Rogers’ release. His release was just an hour ago, and he is now back with his loved ones.

A statement confirming the occurrence has already been released by the management of the media organization.
