Comrade Mulade Sheriff, an advocate for peace and development, has demanded that the federal government guarantee a political-free, impartial investigation into the murder of seventeen military officers in the Okuama town of Delta State’s Ughelli South local government area.

Sheriff, who is also the UN peace ambassador, emphasized the need for President Bola Tinubu’s administration to demonstrate its commitment to Nigerians by taking concrete steps to support their concerns and inspire the nation’s security forces to remain committed regardless of their political, ethnic, or religious affiliations.

“The dead whose souls are angry demand justice,” he asserted.
