Protesters Warn Against Politicizing Killings Investigation

Comrade Mulade Sheriff, an advocate for peace and development, has demanded that the federal government guarantee a political-free, impartial investigation into the murder of seventeen military officers in the Okuama town of Delta State’s Ughelli South local government area.

Sheriff, who is also the UN peace ambassador, emphasized the need for President Bola Tinubu’s administration to demonstrate its commitment to Nigerians by taking concrete steps to support their concerns and inspire the nation’s security forces to remain committed regardless of their political, ethnic, or religious affiliations.

“We must not abide by the brutal, evil, and horrific means by which our brave officers were murdered,” he said.

He candidly advised that the investigative panel set up to find out who did this horrible act and make sure nothing is missed in order to prevent similar tragedies in our beloved country. The activist was born in Delta State.

“The dead whose souls are angry demand justice,” he asserted.
