Ododo Conceales Ex-Governor Idris Over Son’s Death

Along with former governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, current governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo has expressed condolences over the death of Idris’s son, Muhammad.

After taking part in the Eid prayers on Wednesday, Muhammed passed away. He had previously served as a lawmaker for the Ankpa/Olamaboro/Omala Federal Constituency.

Governor Ododo conveyed his deepest sympathies to Idris’s family in a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Ismaila Isah. The governor characterized the death of the late federal legislator as a devastating loss.

During their last encounter in March 2024, when Ododo was accompanied by stakeholders from Omala Local Government Area on a solidarity visit, they had fruitful conversations about the development of the state; Ododo described the late as an older brother in whom he had discovered a worthy compatriot.

The Governor sent his condolences to Alhaji Idris’s family, urging them to find comfort in the rich history of the late statesman and successful businessman’s many commendable achievements.

In his condolences, Governor Ododo asked Allah to provide eternal rest to the former lawmaker and strength to his family during this difficult time.
