Posted by In an interview, Yekini Nabena, a former deputy national publicity secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stated his solid conviction that coalition efforts will not derail President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Nabena’s announcement came as speculation circulated that many political figures were planning to join forces in order to build a mega party that would challenge the APC for the presidency in 2027.
In a statement that he signed in Abuja on Tuesday, Nabena emphasized the APC’s leadership’s continuity and resilience by drawing parallels between Tinubu’s administration and that of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
With God’s help, I have faith that President Bola Tinubu will serve out his full eight years in office, just like President Muhammadu Buhari did. “He will continue to make progress, regardless of whether a mega party or a merger emerges,” Nabena declared.
In a statement, the APC stalwart emphasized the need of unity as a nation and called on the South and the North to be united behind President Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda.
In his speech, Nabena reaffirmed Nigerians’ faith in Tinubu to fulfill his campaign pledges and steer the country to economic success.
