Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the state’s immediate former governor, is facing further corruption charges brought out by the Kano State Anti-Corruption and Public Complaints Commission.
On Tuesday’s “Sunrise Daily” breakfast program on Channels Television, the commission’s chairman, Muhuyi Magaji, revealed this while accusing the Ganduje administration of embezzling public funds.
Investigations into the alleged theft of N51.3 billion from the local government and its subsequent transfer to individuals without proper authorization were uncovered, he said.
Magaji claims that N1 billion was unlawfully taken out of the state’s funds every month by the Ganduje government.

Furthermore, he asserted that the arbitrary transfer of N4 billion from Kano’s consolidated revenue account to an agricultural company was not justified.
