Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have emphasized the importance of Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the former governor of the state, being nominated for the office of governor. They claim that Ambode possesses the magic touch necessary to completely revamp the state.

According to Oluwaseyi Bamigbade, an APC mainstay who spoke on behalf of Lagos’s stakeholders, the state’s infrastructure underwent tremendous growth during Ambode’s four years in office.

This followed revelations from the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), an Islamic human rights group, that Muslims in Lagos State wanted a Muslim governor in 2027.

He claimed that numerous factions are always clamoring for Ambode’s reelection in 2027 so that he may carry on with his magic touch in the Lagos development program, and that they think he deserves a second chance at government, as the constitution allows.

When asked about his four years in office, Bamigbede remarked that he transformed Lagos into a prime location for investments by major companies both domestic and foreign. He seemed to have been in power for much longer than he actually was because of the profound impact he had on the lives of millions of Lagosians across all sectors.

He ushered in a new era by relocating the government to the suburbs, widening their previously cramped streets, and installing modern street lighting that connected to major highways. The arrangement has been smooth and has kept the expressways from becoming congested.
