Fubara Argues That You Should Ignore the False Rivers PDP Caretaker Committee List

Posted by

Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has branded as false the rumoured list of PDP Caretaker Committee members for the state that has been making the rounds on national and social media platforms.
The governor criticized the list, saying it was created by those who were seeking cheap media and trying to cause a crisis, even though they should have known better.

He announced that the party’s national leadership had just met and decided to keep PDP executives in states where their terms had ended for further three months as caretakers.

Fubara made it clear that the existing number of officers should not be increased or any current officer(s) should be dismissed; this decision is still pending ratification by the National Executive Council (NEC).

The Port Harcourt International Automobile Spare Parts Trading and Commercial Centre project was flagged off yesterday in Elelenwo, Port Harcourt, and he spoke at the ceremony.

You may have seen something flying on the social media, daily reports, and the governor acknowledged it. Please allow me to inform you that, following a discussion, it was decided that the Executive Councils of the PDP should be extended for a further three months in all the states impacted, not only Rivers State.

No new names will be added by this extension. You are not operating without the Governor’s authority, as stated in the extension. Thus, I can guarantee you that the changes and ones you saw will not stand.
