Among all the candidates running for governor of Ondo State in the next election, the right of first refusal grants the incumbent the honor of being considered first.
He praised the state party leadership and people for their dedication to this idea, which he found satisfying.
According to Ajulo, Governor Aiyedatiwa has been an exemplary leader in the state since taking office a few months ago, and he has been a devoted party member who has included party officials and members in his administration.
According to the attorney general, the rule of law, customs, and established practices are essential to the functioning of a democratic society.
“Granting the incumbent the opportunity for re-election before considering other candidates” is one of the unspoken but important conventions within political parties, he added.
