Posted by The governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has called the assertions that the APC governorship primary did not take place in the state “hearsay” and rejected them as unfounded.
Yesterday, Aiyedatiwa, who won the primary and would be running for governor in November, spoke with reporters from the State House in Abuja.
Despite criticism from various quarters, he maintained that the election was held throughout the state.
“What those people are saying is based on hearsay. “The governor reported that the election was held,” he said.
Being in two places at once is not possible. I went to my own ward to have my vote tallied, and that’s where the election was held. Other wards are beyond my expertise.
“Who alleges must prove,” he said, challenging the accusers to present evidence of the alleged anomalies.
