Jim Iyke receives praise for his maturity as he clarifies his offensive comment about ex, Nadia Buari (Video)

Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Jim Iyke has finally explained his viral “who’s that” comment about his ex-girlfriend, Nadia Buari.

Recall that during an interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa, she had inquired about his relationship with his ex, and he had replied with “Who’s that”, which many felt was offensive towards her.

Now speaking about it in an interview, Jim Iyke noted how he and Nadia, have both moved on from their past and are now in a relationship.

According to him, he found it offensive to Nadia Buari’s husband and his girlfriend to talk about their affair. He added that Toke had asked him an explicit question about her, and to avoid answering it, he had made such a comment.

“Anyway, I answer the question of my sexual explicity with Nadia Buari is lose lose. I chose not to answer because no husband wants to hear about an ex and anyone who doesn’t understand this needs a serious brain check”.

“I didn’t want to offend a married woman with four children, so it was better to leave the last in the past. I must respect both my current partner and Nadia’s husband”.

Jim Iyke and Nadia Buari were believed to have dated between 2013 – 2014.

Nadia Buari appeared on his now-defunct reality show, Jim Iyke: Unscripted in 2014 where he proposed to her on the show.

Speaking on their relationship, Jim Iyke claimed that it was scripted and a means to ruse ratings.

In other news, Jim Iyke had won the praises of many, when he took accountability for his failed marriage.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Jim admitted that his failed marriages were his fault as he was detached from his wives.

He blamed his crashed marriages on the death of his mother, which affected him emotionally and led to a change of behavior in him and he lost his humor, and he became a woeful husband to his wife.

The actor has been married twice and has three kids.
